Ms. Lewis has worked at the senior management level for several Ottawa area firms. She has over 12 years of progressive HR experience both in Canada and internationally. She has had exposure to all facets of the HR world including performance management, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, recruitment and selection, employee relations, terminations, reporting, compensation and benefits design, immigration, training and education. Also, Ms. Lewis is a part-time professor at Algonquin College where she provides academic leadership and development of an effective learning environment for students in the areas of Compensation Design, Organizational Design and Employment Law. Formally, she taught at Guelph University, Kemptville Campus, in the area of Human Resources Management where students learned the theoretical and practical skills of management and interacting with employees.

Breanne has over 7 years experience working with hi-tech firms ranging in size from small start-ups to large multinational corporations such as Intellitactics Inc., Open Text Corp, March Networks Corp. and TrialStat Corp. As a Principal Consultant for Your Virtual HR Team she continues to provide guidance to hi-tech firms who require a wide range of HR support.
Breanne holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. She has been a member of the HRPAO since 2003 and enjoys participating in the Student Outreach Committee whose mandate is to bring awareness of the HRPAO committee and the CHRP designation to graduating students.
